if between sizes, go up a size. i thought the sleeves were long enough, but don't be fooled by the picture - the length in the back is barely to the top of the hip bones, so if you wear your pants at all below your waist you'll be in for a cool breeze at the back - making it less than snuggly. this is unfortunate as it is otherwise soft, lovely to wrap and manages to look a little more formal/interesting than a cardigan. Would probably be better if you are short or at least very short waisted! I'm disappointed to send it back as it has a lot of potential

I wear this at the office when I get a too chilly. It's comfy and warm, and a little dressier than a cardigan sweater.

Wear this with skirts, jeans - versatile piece. Close with a pin or chopstick for a great look

I'm not sure why others said this item didn't fit, I think it's perfect. I ordered a medium and I wear a small or medium size, I wear it like a jacket, over sweaters, and it fits great. You can roll the sleeves if they're too long. It's great with a belt or use a fancy pin to keep it closed. You can't go wrong with this one.

I am 5'10 and this is short waisted on me. It's extremely warm and made with great quality which you can't find anymore for this price.

I wear it to work at a high school. Students and co-workers complimented me

Very warm comfortable Drape. Never had anything quite like this before and I love it. I bought 2 more: one in beige in a larger size (just to see how it would work) and one in the charcoal color. I usually wear a M(10- 12) and bought this in size L and XL.The sleeves are just a tiny bit long. Works well with dress or sports clothes. I've warn it to the Metropolitan Opera and to the movies. It's also just right to put on when going out to get the mail. The wool is very soft and smooth. It looks great on.

I bought two of these as gifts, based on J.G. Glover's reputation for quality... The photo shows a long drape in front and the description says,"and enough fabric to completely envelope yourself in its warmth and softness." Just not true! The women I gave these to are normal sized women...yet there is no material to "envelope" anything in...Really cheesey, lightweight and not at all flattering ....and I bought XL so that they could really bundle up, too....Oh, but the wool is nice.

I bought this for my fiancee to wear over her dresses for when we go to a show. She's always getting cold and her cardigans don't look very good over a dress. We're going to exchange it for a larger size since the sleeves are two inches too short for her. She does have long arms but the main problem with fit is that it's too small across the shoulders. The sleeves seam starts on top of her shoulder and not at her arm.

I like the sweater, but the sleeve length was too short and the fabric was a bit course. As a result I will need to return this one.
