Peregrine by J.G. Glover Merino Wool Sweater (For Men)

This sweater is well made and high quality materials were used. I did expect the size to be alittle larger.

I'm quite sensitive to itchy wool — I only wear merino wool products. If this sweater is made from merino wool, then it's the coarser, itchier kind. Otherwise, if you're not hyper-sensitive to itchy wool like me, then the contruction is great, everything else about the sweater indicates high-quality. I am keeping it because the sale price was amazing and I can wear it under a turtleneck and it should be comfortable enough for most the day. I would not recommend this to a friend because merino wool should be softer IMO.

The sweater looked perfect, and "fits" literally and figuratively.

comfortable and large discount

I bought two in large. The large is a bit on the smallish side and somewhat short. There was also one very odd thing. The beige sweater (which really looks gray) had a very off-putting funny smell, but the ecru one smelled fine. I kept the ecru as a gift for my brother-in-law and sent the beige back. These are made in England and seemed high quality but the smell thing was really unpleasant.

Sweater is beautiful, and too warm to wear until well into winter. The only negative that I can see is that the chest is a bit too wide in the shoulders - I am 6'3", 46" chest, 230lbs, normally a perfect XL fit and the shoulders are a touch wide on me. Nothing that would affect it's use, but if you are a cusp size order the smaller size.

I was surprised to find a woolen sweater of this quality offered at this price. This sweater has to be one of the best Sierra values.

Looks good, fits my husband well. We're both pleased.

Great for driving around in my Jeep with the top down. Good looking British Sweater that's warm and practicle. I own several styles of J. G. Glover sweaters. Can't beat um....
