This is one of the best jackets to have for winter wear. It's one of those "buy it to last a lifetime" articles of clothing. When I saw it on sale, I should have known that the deal was too good to be true, and it was. It's not that these jackets were mislabeled two sizes too small. It's that the patterns were not cut correctly. The sleeves, for example, were so tight, that I could only bend my arms with difficulty -- and that was over a T-shirt. Meanwhile, the jacket had room to zip up. OH WELL! Someone somewhere will benefit!

Very nice jacket, very high quality and well made. Great for Spring and Fall in the NW. Runs small, order up. I ordered the Large, as I usually wear size 12, and am 5'9'' with broad shoulders and long arms. It just fit, and was a bit snug across the shoulders and uncomfortably tight at the neck. Too small to wear a sweater underneath, and if washed/dried, I'd be out of luck. The sleeves are nice and long, though. Thankfully, an XL replacement was available.

This jacket is sized XL (18-20). I normally wear a 16 or 18, L or XL depending on cut. This is too narrow to zip. I will have to return it and am only debating whether to try a men's size from the same maker in a somewhat different model, which I'm not sure I like as well. This was a big disappointment, since the jacket itself is exactly what I wanted. You really should warn customers if a product runs very small (or large, for that matter.)

Bought this as a travel jacket for an upcoming trip to Europe. Wanted the zippered inside pocket and waterproof fabric in a lightweight jacket that looks more subdued. Overall very pleased. Great fabric and very well made. It is more wide and short than the photo makes it appear. Not too much, but would have loved it even more if it had been longer.

This coat is well cut, classic without being stodgy, classy without being flashy, and exactly what I wanted: a fine wax cotton British-made coat. Well worth the money. The only thing that keeps it from 5 true stars (for me) is the slight snugness around the chest when the coat is zipped. If I could, I'd give it 4.75 stars.

This jacket is practical,yet has something beyond dowdy utilitarian about it. It has nice details: the corduroy wind guard, pocket flaps, zippers and snaps, and of course, the fabric, which is perfect for the Pacific Northwest.

My regrets, had to return it as it is not a "snow" jacket.
