“As a former Recon. Marine I prefer to wear a boonie cover when it isn't too cold. This hat is the combination I have been looking for: protection from the rain with out an over sized brim to block periferal vision. Looks good too. Yes, I could wear a hood, but that limits the senses, i.e. eyes and ears.”
