Joan & David Damara Pumps (For Women)

They look great, and felt fine going on. But after just a few hours of walking in them at work they hurt so much! There is not enough flex in the sole, making my toes and forefoot subject to lots of abuse. I will wear these only for meetings, not when I have to walk in them.

These felt bad 5 minutes after I put them on. I felt like the bones in my feet were going to crunch together. The length was okay but from instep forward they were just too narrow.

This shoe looks great in the photos, but is just ordinary in person. The shoe upper cuts across the top of the foot at a very odd angle. You get major toe cleavage between the fourth and pinky toes. It ends up looking almost like you have the shoe on the wrong foot.

Half size too big. Went back.

These are pretty shoes, but too narrow in the toes for me.

Love these shoes! My pair is black; I was tempted to get navy as well because navy pumps are hard to find. I will wear these mostly with pants, but they'd look great with skirts, too. The styling is conservative and tailored without being staid at all; in fact, these have some details with oomph! They're lower-cut on top - a teeny bit of toe cleavage on my last toes, but that doesn't bother me at all. The heel-shape adds even more interest. Fit and arch support are fine for me; my feet are size 7, on the narrow side. Can't wait for cooler weather so I can wear these more!
