These are really cute, but better for a arge ankle/leg

I've always wanted a pair of dressy ankle boots to wear with pants for work. This Joan and David boots received high ratings [...] and I was just thinking of buying myself a pair -- thank goodness I perused the Sierra Trading site first. Imagine my delight upon seeing the same pair for less! I was so thrilled that this pair came in my size. This shoe is surprisingly comfortable and looks very very good. I thought I should size up because of the pointy toes, but there's no need. Great pair!

I was really thrilled by these boots, very comfortable, affordable, and go well with both dress and casual pants. I would recommend them. They really perk up an outfit and I have recived many compliments on them.

These were the most well-packed boots I've ever purchased. They were quite beautiful but I agree with another poster that stated that the opening around the ankle was very large. My fee tend to be narrow and these seemed wider in width than normal. Also, with the boot being so pointy and my narrow foot, my feel looked like the Wicked Witch of the West's. This boot is perfect with a wider foot and ankle. They are beautiful. Too bad they didn't work.
