    As a fiber artist, I'm always looking for that perfect wool canvas on which to add wool felting. This sweater coat is PERFECT as is, but it's going to be a fashion work-of-art after I embellish it! I only wish it had been available in white when I ordered it.

    This appears to be nicely made and decent quality wool. A nice weight, not too heavy nor thin. But after three different folks said "looks like a lab coat", I decided to send it back. Maybe it would look different on someone else, or maybe I just didn't accessorize it enough. I would recommend to a friend who works in a lab and needs something warmer than cotton ;-)

    I had been looking for a longer, lighter black coat/sweater and this one is perfect. It is just the right weight for those days you don't want too much but need something. Plus, being wool, it can take some inclement weather. It has no closure in front but I usually don't close jackets and sweaters anyway.

    I wanted a quick cover up for around the house when I'm cold, and I got it in this jacket. There isn't really a belt, just a sewed on belt in back. Could be worn out, if you kept it for good.

    I bought this sweater in black. I wore it over a black slightly A-line skirt. I added a broach to close it at the waist in front. This gave it a more fitted look. The sleeves are not wide but fitted and it looked great with closing the front. I am very pleased with this sweater.
