    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I read other comments before I bought these pants so I ordered a size smaller than I normally wear. The size smaller fit like my normal size but they were way to long for crop pants. They are a within a 1/2 inch of normal length. I also bought them for summer wear and the fabric is too heavy for summer wear. They do seem like good quality though.

    I kept these because they seemed like such good quality. I gave them to my sister. she washed them and they did not shrink but when she wore them they streched out. so not that great

    I buy crop pants because I'm short and hate to hem pants so I can wear crop pants as if they were long. These were too long even though they were crop. Even though the color was not anything I really wanted I owuld have kept them anyway if they were short enough. However, the combination of the length and color each being slightly off caused me to return them.

    These pants run very large. I ordered 4 items by Joan Vass in a size 2 and was surprised by the large size of these pants. These are also a cropped style and not Capri's as described. I would recommend these pants because of the quality but you will need to order 1 or 2 sizes down to get the correct fit.
