    I've had numerous Joan Vass pieces over the years. This piece does not live up to the previous pieces I've purchased. The fabric is much thinner and doesn't seem as durable as other Joan Vass pieces.

    This skirt fits close to the body. It runs pretty long as well. It just did not fit quite right. A big downside to this was that it has to be hand washed and dried. I didn't get this far with it as I opted to return it.

    I loved this skirt so much when it arrived that I immediately ordered another. I washed it and wore it the next day. As my day wore on, the skirt seemed to shrink, getting shorter as I walked. The skirt that started the day ankle length barely covered my knees by the time I got home! I thought I was crazy, but my daughters verified this. What can I say? Made in China. I should have known better. This is the first time I can remember buying something from Sierra that did not thrill and delight me!

    The fit of this skirt is very baggy. It might have been okay for me in a smaller size, but size 2 was the smallest in came (normally I wear a 4). Also, the fabric is that of sweatpants, but doesn't look bad. If it fit, it would be great casual wear.

    Great skirt that I actually wore to work and then came home and found the request to write a review for it in my inbox. It's quite comfy and I love the length. Waist is a little loose, but that's a common problem I have, so it's probably standard. Fairly heavy fabric so doesn't seem cheap or anything, but not too hot on this 100 degree day.
