Joan Vass Flare Skirt (For Women)

I loved the skirt. Lines are different and very attractive. Tried them on - looked great at first but then noticed the zipper in back puckers up. So it looks like you have a racquetball resting between your derriere and the fabric. It was horrible! I tried to move the skirt 90 degrees so the zipper was on the side, but that hides the pretty detail in front/back. Putting the zipper in front helps, and is possible since the skirt seems symmetrical, but the zipper is then visible so wouldn't be good with waist-length tops. I think the only way this wouldn't happen to you is if you have NO curves in back. Very disappointed. Note: Mary from MI had the same problem in her review on 2/24/10.

The length of the skirt pots it in the grandma category as it hits mid shin. It was just too big all over. The quality seemed more dressy than office. So, it was not what I wanted and I had to return it. IF you can get the right fit and want a special occasion skirt, though, this might be it.

I was planning to wear this skirt to work, but the zipper did not lay flat and bubbled out in the back. Poor workmanship.

Nothing good to say. Fit was strange and pulled in back. Very disappointed because I've wanted a boot skirt for a long time. Thought it was longer. Returning.

It is flattering and comfortable. Looks great with boots. Saw it retail for full price. Such a deal here!

I like everything about this skirt but I have had to try two to get a good fit and I am still not sure. I think it runs small

I first bought this skirt in grey and loved how it wore so much that I reordered another one in black. My only criticism is that the waistline is on the small size for a true 12. I am between a ten and a twelve and found the waist (in the size 12 that I bought) almost too small. Still, I love the softness of the fabric and for a Joan Vass skirt, the price can't be beat!

Very good quality, Runs VERY large. I usually take a 12, the 10 was too big.
