Most Helpful 4-Star Review
Reviewed by Fashionista in my own mind from Philadelphia on Wednesday, November 27, 2013Like the other reviews said, it's really a step up from a sweatshirt. And judging by the photo it looks long - it's not - it's wide! With the horizontal stripes, it makes you look even wider. A definite no no!
Reviewed by dosblakey from Tennessee on Saturday, November 16, 2013This knit cardigan is one that is best worn over leggins. I don't wear leggins so I wear it over fitted jeans(not skinny). The colors are great for me as I am a natural redhead and go for earthy tones. It isn't a heavy sweater but a lighter weight that appears to be good quality. Because of the gray trim it only looks good with black, gray or blue jeans or leggins (imho). I have both brown and khaki jeans where the khaki colors are the same color but it just doesn't quite go. The cream color is a beautiful cream color along with the khaki and orange. I would recommend to a friend. I got it for an additional 45% off with the deal flyer and think that is the right price to pay for this item It isn't worth more than that. Joan Vass for me is hit or miss and this one I did O.K.. Thanks
Reviewed by ChicagoWoman from Chicago,iL on Friday, December 14, 2012My usual experience with Joan Vass - hot or miss.
This one is the latter. STP photo is very promising : good colors and it looks like a thick cotton sweater.
In reality - the cream stripe is more of a wheat color and the red stripe is orange - which wouldn't be bad except it clashes with the heather gray trim that looks like it were made out of my husband old workout clothes. Basically it is a thin sweathirt with pockets that won't stay in place - gapping and pulling down under their own weight.
The overall look instead of casual comfort is rather sloppy .
I got it at a great price in comparison to stated retail price. However I doubt seriously if anybody ever paid that much for this buttoned down stripped sweatshirt.
