I bought this light for night fishing and it worked great. The headlamp and lantern worked equally well. Another great product from Joby!

I know it's "just a light" but I thought the flexibility would work well as a light source for motorcycle trips. My wife loved it as a backup light if the power would go out. So I had to but two. The spot light is bright and comfortable to wear. The latern and how the spot light fits into it is engineered well and works great as a side light .

I like the idea of combining 2 things to function together to cut down on things in your pack. Kinda hard to get the head lamp to snap into the case and all plastic connections that my wear pretty quick and not work in the future. also doesn't have really good light as a lantern!

We got this last summer from another retailer, paid more. Used it all summer as both lantern and headlamp. I was confused about headlamp operation, had trouble turning it off until my son pointed that I wasn't patient enough, it has slow off and I was cycling the button too fast through low and high. Battery pack is heavy but batteries lasted all summer. Camera adapter is lost in a drawer somewhere which is too bad as it would be handy with that great tripod. As usual the red led mode is something I never use.

Very very nice structure. You can use it as a headlamp or lantern and the conversion is fairly easy. Tripod is such a big plus. The only reason I didn't give 5 is, the small part you are going to need if you want to use a tripod for your camera can be lost easily. They should come up with a better idea of keeping it safer.
