They fit true to size as boots always seem to be a little longer in the toe area as that seems to allow ease of getting them on. The W width is not really too wide, but helps as the item title states to order a 1/2 size smaller. This fits me in length perfectly, as I wear a 9-1/2, but is a little snug in the width, especially with getting them on. They take a little breaking in, but will become your favorite slip on boot once they loosen up. The only reason I did not give them 5 stars is because of the porousity of the leather. Water soaks into it like a sponge. Hence, oils will also soak right in and stain it. STP has some great Water and Stain Proofing products to prevent this, however, I figure I will just use these boots as my dusty dry weather boots.

(2) Leather is super soft and the chestnut color is great. They will take a little while to break in because the boot is all leather with no lining to speak of and will stretch over time.
(3) I wouldn't say they really run a half size larger like listed, but in the wide size they seem to run true to size.
(4) They are definitely not even water resistant and the leather soaks up water like a sponge. Hence, If you get even trace amounts of oil on them they will soak it up and stain really dark, so they are more suited for a real nice casual, rather than a work boot.
(5) Overall it is a beautiful natural leather looking and wearing boot. I would recommend them for casual wearing and the price with a 40% discount is really just a good to fair price for the boot, not an exceptional deal unless you are wanting this specific boot like me. -

I normally wear a 9 in most dress shoes so ordered an 8.5. The boot was a little snug initially but after a short break in period fits nicely. The boot has a low tread which I like as it does not pick up a lot of mud while working around the yard. The insole is firm but comfortable. Leather appears to be a good quality and well put together so they should last well. The color is a little lighter than pictured but after some wear they've darkened up some. Overall a good boot for the money when a discount is applied. I'd definitely buy again.
