This is my first set of western work boots in years, been wearing steel toe lace-up boots. It took me several tries to find not too narrow rubber-sole western boots that are well made and these are definitely them. Be aware that these seem to be a little short, I'm usually a 10, occasionally a 9.5, but I had to get some 10.5 to be comfortable. And, like a lot of rugged well-made boots, these look like they will need some break in. On the plus side, they are easy to put on, not too warm, and fairly conservative looking. Under jeans, they just look like a pair of nice, if a bit heavy-duty, brown dress shoes.
