  • Beautiful jacket but sleeves too short

    This is a really beautifully made jacket but it has one major drawback: the sleeves are too short, almost three quarter length depending on how long your arms are. I returned the jacket and ordered one size up and it fits a little better. It is a snug fit but I can live with it, but the sleeves, even though a little longer are still too short. I could not bring myself to return the jacket again because it really is a beautiful jacket, well made with beautiful details. The color is gorgeous, the fabric is so soft it is almost like velvet. It is not fully lined as described, but rather a partial lining for the back but not the sides and the sleeves. I love the gold pin on the collar and overall it is a classy looking unique jacket. And it is made in Great Britain not China which is really something these days. Despite its snug fit and short sleeves I love this jacket. It is also very warm in my drafty house.

    Wear a size 6... so bought XS, as described, but too small. Bought 2 sizes larger just to get it to feel as if I could close the front! Strange, as I am small sized.

    This jacket has a lot of potential, but fit was strange. The jacket was longer than the sleeves. The lining was slippery, not fleece, so easy on/off, but not cozy. Maybe wind protection? Unfortunately the pockets were fleece on both sides (in addition to fleece front of jacket) making 3 layers of bulky fleece right where I prefer to not appear extra bulky. Loved the pink color and quilting, but may return due to fit.
