John Partridge Linen Shirt - Long Sleeve (For Women)

love the color, had to remove darts for more comfortable fit. not hard to do and does not ruin look of blouse.

So, I got the XL (see previous review, below). The shoulders are build for a line-backer, but it fits at the bust. My mother (an excellent seamstress) took out the shoulder seam and put in a dart from shoulder to the existing bust dart - removing at least 2" of material at the shoulder. Now it looks fabulous, but it's not something I could have done by myself. Beautiful fabric. Yes, the collar is a little long and pointy as mentioned by another reviewer.

This is a truly lovely shirt-great color and wonderful material. Read previous reviews that it runs small so I order a size larger. It is still way too tight across bust (I am not particularly well endowed. Everything else was fine so if I ordered a larger size the rest would be way too big.

I know what happened here; the folks in production messed up big time and stitched the wrong sleeves into the wrong shirt sizes...so you have a size small with a size large arms...which is too bad because the linen was lovely but I wonder how many of these will actually sell??

I bought this shirt a size larger than usual after reading other reviews and it was too big, especially across the shoulders. I sent it back for exchange and am looking forward to receiving the correct size. The fabric is good quality linen, smooth and not scratchy. A good wardrobe staple!

These shirts had an odd fit. The collar is pointy and long which I could not tell from the photo.

Breast is uncomfortably tight. I am going to return it.

from casual to dress up everything is good , wouldn't change anything about it

I usually wear a M or L, and this was so small in the L that I couldn't even button it at the bust. The blue-grey is a beautiful color and the fabric is very nice. I'll try again with a larger size.
