    I usually hate coats...too bulky...hard to move...but not this one. It's warm and easy to wear and move in. Sleeves are a bit long but good for when it's very cold. The wool is wonderful and soft. It's not too big - especially with a jacket or sweater underneath. I'm looking forward to wearing this for years to come.

    This coat is great! It does run slightly large, so as the other reviewers stated, order one size smaller than you usually would - I'm glad I did. This coat has a nice plaid wool lining, the exterior is made from beautiful wool material, and it's very well crafted. I hope Sierra Trading Post runs this coat as a barn burner deal again so I can purchase another one in a different color! I receive compliments on it every time I wear it.

    The quality wool melton fabric is nice and thick with a soft nap, which gives it a great feel. While it does not have a lining, that doesn't detract from the coat. It is well made, with all internal seams and edges finished off for neat appearance. Inside there is a cell phone pocket with velcro closure and another square pocket with zipper. The hood can be adjusted for a snugger fit in windy weather. The coat is just the right thickness for our cold (10 degree) weather--I wear a sweater underneath because I always were sweaters in the winter anyway. It's not too bulky, which makes it just right in the car with a seat belt. I bought yellow and it's like a breath of spring for this cold weather. I really like this coat.
