No, I would not recommend this to a friend
“I am 5'11" and 135lbs and a fit model for size small clothing. The cut of this coat, even in a Small, made my shoulders look small and my waist look huge. The back is too small - it pulls and actually makes your shoulders look smaller - and the armholes are too large. The idea of the coat is fantastic. Waxed cotton blocks wind really well and is generally quite waterproof. However, I would never wear this outside ... even in my home town in the middle of nowhere.”
