Reviewed by Damatapa from SF Bay area on Friday, July 06, 2012I found this coat to be quite large, boxy, and unfitted- although I usually wear a small, bought this in a medium to allow for a warm sweater or vest underneath. It wasn't available for exchange so I don't know how the small would have fit, but based on the style, I don't think it would have worked out, even in the small. It was, however, a great color (Olive), good quality, great weight- could be a nice all around coat.

Reviewed by NT from PA on Friday, May 11, 2012This is a very nicely made jacket/coat which is about knee length and that's hard to find. The sleeves are long, but that can always be fixed. The problem for me is that it's cut straight down from the shoulders and I have a somewhat round figure (size 10-12)so even the Large was tight over the hips. This would be great for someone with a longer, slimmer frame.

Answer With the proper layering it will be a warm coat. It is not wind or water proof though. The tan is a beige color.

Answer This will be a warm jacket, but may need to add a few layers in the NE cold. It will shed some water, but not for a down pour.
