I would use this coat for riding my horse outdoors. It would be PERFECT for that. I think the sizing runs very large.

I originally bought for my son as a christmas gift. Then, before christmas, we had a cold rain storm and I needed to do a lot of yard pick up before it froze and went to snow. So I used this jacket and liked it so much I kept it for myself and ordered another for my son!

I've always admired this style of rain coat. I ordered a small and it fits perfect except the sleeves are a little long. I'm 5"2" and the coat is long on me as I hoped. My hips are 45" and there is still room. Very well made, found a snap on hood with visor in the pocket. The pocket also contained wax to touch up areas that get more use. The chest section is lined in a cotton looks like and the bottom half nylon. Plenty of pockets inside and out. Zip front with snap over. I love it! It is not a bulky coat so I could pack it for travel. I could also wear an additional shell jacket under it during a winter snow. I'm very pleased with the purchase. Can't wait until it rains or snows.

Attractive coat is very well made with top of the line materials. I have another waxed cotton long coat. John Partridge beats it in every category.

I'm normally a size 4 or 6, and an XS was way too big! Need to return it. I was disappointed because it seemed like a beautifully made and stylish coat.

Right now, it sits in the closet - definitely not a coat one would wear everyday if this is not the only coat you have.

Uses include very nasty weather. I like the quality of British oilskin. One of my prized possessions.

This is a very comfortable and well built raincoat. It is light and warm. It is ideal for horseriding with leg straps to keep legs covered. Unlike the more expensive Barbour, it buttons all the way down the front, keep the legs dry when walking. It is much lighter than the canvas Outback variety.Jerr
