John Varvatos Star USA Tic Weave Stripe Suit - 3-Piece (For Men)
Closeouts. Nothing produces a confident swagger like a truly fine three-piece suit, and John Varvatos Star USA heralds the return of this sartorial favorite in a gregarious wool -- part tic weave and part beaded stripe -- with the overall character that can only be described as appealingly masculine.

Verified Buyer Reviewed by Old School Cat Fashionista from San Antonio via NYC/NJ on Tuesday, April 10, 2012Great style however not so much for the conservative shopper. Like his sport coats are cinched in at the waist, the slacks are cut narrow at the bottom and not full like most suits that you are used to so it might not fair well for a heavier person. In this case you might want to order one size up and let the tailor make the adjustments.
- Best Uses: Business, Formal Events
- Cons: Narrow tapered legs, Smaller at waist
- Describe Yourself: Fashionista, Stylish
- Pros: Attractive Design, Lightweight

Verified Buyer Reviewed by hoot from bethesda, md on Tuesday, February 21, 2012would've probably gave a 4.5 only cause of the fit of the pants but not sure it's J.V's fault! but i did find that they pants were very snug but i simply took them to my tailor who fixed them up nicely.
Overall the J.V. "fit" works on me very well.. i'm 5'7 150.. in particular the tops (shirts, jackets etc). Meaning other brands, no matter what size you pick, the length of the items are roughly the same. With J.V. they tend to focus on the overall size of the items for a better "custom" fit/look.
- Best Uses: Formal Business casual
- Cons: Fit bottoms
- Pros: Good fit top, Great material
