I bought the shoes for work - business casual. It fits well and suits my needs.

Great shoe. Everything good that everyone says it is. However, I do not feel this is a shoe you would want to wear with a business suit. It is a soft leather with no shine that you typically see on a business shoe. If that does not bother you, then you can wear with a business suit.

This is my 4th pair if J&M and they have not disappointed yet. Very comfortable and pretty durable.

I was seeking to replace some original HS Trask oxfords-sadly recent ones bear little resemblence-and found these matched what I was looking for-Toe has slight 'point' (rather than round "work-boot" toe)Durability remains to be seen, but broke in OK in two days and were satisfactory for a convention that had a lot of walking. I'd recommend them.

I had a very strange experience with this order. I spotted the shoes and immediately liked them but my size 10 was not available. I went to the Johnson & Murphy website and found a retail outlet store within 50 miles. When I phoned it turned out that they had this shoe in stock in my size but a different color. I ordered the shoe and liked it right out of the box. When I later returned to the STP website suddenly this shoe was available in my size. I ordered a pair. I now have two pairs of these shoes in different colors that both match up with my clothing and I paid less than the retail price of one pair for both pairs combined. Interesting. Johnson & Murphy shoes were originally made in Johnson City, NY, which is outside Binghamton, NY. These shoes were made in China, but made very well. I'm quite pleased with this outcome.
