5.0 out of 5 stars. Very soft, lightweightVerified Buyer Reviewed by Katherine the Avid Gardener from Los Altos, CA on Thursday, October 2, 2014I got the teal color in this, and it is close to the photo, perhaps just slightly brighter. The size listed seems accurate. I have another Elgin throw, their Cashmere Bothy Rug, which is 50% cashmere and 50% merino, and this 100% cashmere is a bit thinner and lighter than my current one. I am not sure if it is as warm--hard to tell, might be. I have a heavier wool blanket on my bed, and one night recently after I got this throw, it was too hot for the blanket but I was a bit chilly with just a sheet on top and the windows open. I put this throw on over the sheet and it was perfect--kept me warm enough but not hot, and it breathed well. Now it is getting colder outside and I have the throw under my wool blanket, as the blanket alone is not enough (but it is too warm still for my down comforter). Works great, and is less expensive than buying a full cashmere blanket (I have a full-size bed). The cashmere is very soft, excellent quality. I only wish it came in more colors than the teal and berry.

5.0 out of 5 stars. The Ultimate!Reviewed by Caligirl from New York on Friday, April 11, 2014I'm a big fan of this brand: 2 scarves, 2 sets of gloves and 3 throws. I have a 100% wool throw, a 50/50 wool/cashmere throw, and now this. I love my other throws, but this one takes it to a whole new level of luxury. The weave is beautiful - classic, elegant - and of very high quality. I have the shade "Rust"; the colors are muted but almost shimmer in the light. While not flimsy or thin, it is a lightweight throw. However, incredibly warm and so soft and finely woven it is like having silk next to your skin. Don't expect it to have the same feel as the average fuzzy cashmere sweater made in China...this is the real deal made of superior fibers and crafted in Scotland. While not cheap, at the price STP offers I consider it a steal and an investment that's well worth the splurge.
