The socks are absolutely wonderful! Love, love, love them!So soft, non-itchy. Every time I put them on, I have a happy smile on my face. A very smart design with a very fine elastic that keeps the socks on my feet under the blanket on chilly nights. I definately buy more in the future in different colors. My advise is to use them as intended, i.e. as bed socks.

These are the softest, warmest socks you will own. Having said that they are also 100% cashmere and not meant to withstand a lot of wear and tear. That is why they are called "bedsocks". Wear them on a cold night, curled up with a good book.

Have sent lots of these to relatives in England/Scotland... where you CANNOT get 100% cashmere socks at anywhere close to this amazing price! Even with the postage, they're incredible value!

  • Question “This sock has material listed twice. Once it says cashmere, the second 100% nylon. (It looks like you may have copied and pasted information from another product into this product's description.) I can't imagine it would say "cashmere" if it was 100% nylon.”
Asked on 9/24/2011 12:00:00 AM by Beth from Unknown
    • Answer Thanks for bringing this to our attention. They are 100% cashmere.

  • Question “Do you have any idea if these would fit a woman who wears a size 11 shoe? I'm thinking of getting these for a friend who would love them, but she has lengthy feet.”
Asked on 12/16/2010 12:00:00 AM by dc from Unknown
    • Answer For women's sizes you would size down a size to size and a half, there should not be any problems.
Answered on 12/21/2010 12:00:00 AM by Customer Care from Sierra Trading Post
    • Answer They're supposed to be one size but they do not look as if they would fit comfortably on your friend's foot. The woman for whom I purchased them wears a size 7. You might want to look around for a pair that is only 70-80% cashmere. Maybe they'll come in specific sizes.

    • Answer You have a very lucky friend. I wear a size 9 shoe and they seem quite big after wearing them in bed just once.
Answered on 1/11/2011 12:00:00 AM by STPF from Danville, Ca
    • Answer Yes, I am a size 11 and I also worried about sizing. However although they looked to be on the small size they fitted perfectly, no doubt due to their incredible softness.

    • Answer I wear size 11 and they fit fine.

    • Answer Haven't had that problem yet, but still on first pair. They may be rubbing on your sheets, if you sleep mostly on your back and move a fair amount in the night....

    • Answer Bed socks are designed to be worn in bed only. I remove mine to go to bathroom, etc, at night. I have had a pair for three years now and have never had a problem with heel holes because I'm pretty careful with them. Cashmere is a soft yarn and will wear easily if not reinforced but just bed use should not produce holes. Don't even wear them in slippers. I would send the holey ones back and try with a new set.
