Johnstons of Elgin Cashmere Bed Socks (For Women)

To actually own a pair of cashmere socks is the 'cats meow' - WOW! I wear them during sleep. I get very cold feet and these are the best - non-binding, soft and warm with nothing that constricts during sleep.

I have worn "bed socks" my whole life and was amused to see that Johnstons of Elgin actually named these socks "bed socks." I always chose white and cotton but decided it was time for a change and I really wanted to try cashmere. I purchased three pairs: pink, eggshell and marine. The colors are wonderful and the heft of the cashmere is quite weighty. I think that because the cashmere is so thick it really can't be worn with a shoe and therefore exists as a "bed sock." But that is fine because it truly is a wonderful bed sock and three might not be enough for me, I might need more .

beautiful colors--bought 3 pairs (two for gifts, hopefully....)in soft pink, purple and ocean. bought a pair of these last year and made the mistake of wearing them like regular socks and wore them out. not terribly durable, but very warm and fabulously soft.

Keeps my feet warm in bed at night.

They are soft and lightweight, and help keep my feet warm when the comforter disappears in the middle of the night. They are "one size" which means if you wear smaller than a size 8 or 9, they are too long in the foot, so sometimes they wiggle their way down. Would prefer a no-seam style so the location of the heel wouldn't be a concern. I typically associate "eggshell" with a shade of white - these are light green.
