I got it in a large size so it would be nice and long and the color is very soft and lovely. It doesn't seem like it will pill. The finish is very smooth and not super fluffy but soft.

Perhaps it was the varigation in the coloring, perhaps it was the large neck and large waistband, but the sweater was a lot more casual looking than I had thought it would be from the picture.
