I prefer these for driving in the winter, and the cashmere is lightly warmer than wool or alpaca.

These gloves are soft and warm, and come in nice colors. I have small hands and they are definitely too big for me-- I will be gifting these to a friend for that reason.

These are high-quality, good-looking gloves. I like fingerless gloves because I'm able to do more with them on. They're great for driving, typing, getting keys out of your pocket, etc. These are the nicest I've found. I don't know if they'd work on a really cold day, but they're perfect for a West Coast winter (which can get quite cold, but not usually freezing).

Great product. Would highly recommend them to another person looking for something to allow them to work in the cold, in an office, on a train, or where ever else they take you.

My friend absolutely loved this gift! The gloves are soft, warm, and keep your hands ward while your fingers are free for texting!

Soft and warm for typing in a cold room. The elastic around the wrists is a little snug and leaves marks on my skin, but I am working to stretch them out a bit. Otherwise, very nice.

My husband and I both use fingerless gloves all winter. As you get older it is harder to keep one's hands warm especially if you live in an an old country house in hilly farm country and heat and cook with wood stoves. This year because of the good price I bought Johnston's fingerless gloves as Christmas presents for all my friends who have always admired them. I love them. They do not last forever but they last better than others I have had.

Great for use just around the house, especially when I'm some distance from the wood stove. They're perfect when typing in my home office and I need a little added warmth. They are luxurious!

My hands are on the large side (7 1/2 if I'm lucky) and use fingerless gloves while computing long hours in my chilly office. After reading comments about the size these mitts sounded like they might work, and cashmere is usually comfortable. The palm was on the loose side but the wrist was tight and itchy after an hour. The cashmere might have softened with soaking but the elasticized wrist could not be altered. Don't have them anymore.
