Johnstons of Elgin Lambswool Throw Blanket

I planned on giving this as a gift, but may keep if for our home!

Purchase one of these last year - got tired of fighting with the kid for possession so I ordered another. Wonderfully comfortable and warm - perfect to take away the chills on a frosty winters eve. Excellent quality

I use the throw to keep at work the a/c is set to super cool.

I was surprised by the softness of the wool - as usually wool blankets are scratchy and uncomfortable, however these blankets just invite you to wrap yourself and and its substantially large size, allows you to be totally covered! And if you get the right colors, they make very pretty accents to boring couches or chairs. I will buy more for gifts.

I used it for the gift, since I purchased another one and liked it's quality as well as price.

Beautiful gift to cozy up with

I own several of these lambswool blankets and also plan to give them as Christmas gifts. I simply love them. While I am not into all of the colors or color combinations offered, I usually find one or more that will fit with my decor. These blankets are very soft (is it me or do they get even softer with usage?) and warm. I also appreciate the size - much better than an ordinary throw where I never feel I can wrap myself in it due to its shorter length/width. To me, these blankets are worth every cent and represent one of life's little luxuries. Just the thought of wrapping myself in a blanket that is pure lambswool (no acrylic here!) and that was not manufactured in China but in a centuries-old mill in Britain makes me feel good. And the great quality speaks for itself. These really are honest-to-goodness pieces...
