Question & Answer
“I'd like to know if this is a pure wool blanket or a blend? The specifications may need to be updated. The weight is also not indicated.”
The blanket is 100% wool and weighs 2 lb. 6 oz., the GSM was not provided.
“I realize this is shetland wool however is it safe to wash with cold water and woolite and air dry? I have asthma and while the wool doesn't bother me, the dry cleaning chemicals do.”
The manufacturer recommends dry clean for best results, but I have hand washed in cold water and air dry wool products without any ill affects.
“I am looking for wool blankets - you have a good selection, but I am looking for heavy wool blankets, not light ones. Can you please tell me which of your wool blankets are heavy, and how heavy? Some have weights, others dont.”
