This is excellent quality and beautiful design. And for the price...unbeatable. I have read in recent comments that the blanket is a bit scratchy. Well, all I can say is that it's not cashmere or angora but sheep wool, so of course it's a bit rougher. But if you wash them right the first time they become much softer. Wool needs to be treated right. Since these blankets are already somewhat felted one can wash them safely in the wool cycle with a few slow agitations. Soak them in cold or luke warm water with a few drops dish washing liquid and baking soda (an hour or so), then rinse once with just water, then soak again in water with a good splash of white vinegar (again an hour or so), and just drain that final rinse. Air dry properly and it should feel alot softer. My cats absolutely love them (I have two, both cats and blankets, so there's no arguing) and they're very picky!
