I would use this throw for wrapping up round the fireplace in wintertime, or in the chill outdoor evenings such as a sporting event, or campfire. I particularly bought it as an extra comfort for overnight guests.It's a beautiful fabric, and the colors are great.This is a high quality item. I bought a primarily green one, there is some red in the plaid, so will work nicely at Xmas time as a throw for the love seat. The Shetland throw is not as soft as another type of wool throw that I also bought, so if you are sensitive to wool, this would not be for you.
