    I ordered one size larger than normal, but the fit was too slim to be comfortable. Did not wish to go two sizes larger since the sleeves would be too long? I thus regretably returned the item, which was made expertly of beautifully soft cashmere.

    Right out of the box it's clear that this is anything but a bargain basement cashmere sweater, although the price would portend that. It is well tailored, substantial, quite warm,-in short, top quality.

    Johnstons offers decent quality, but their sizing is trim. I wear 46 long and routinely need to buy their 48s, and even then they don't work well over a starched or bulky collared shirt. Fine for layering over a polo or tee shirt.

    This is a great sweater at this price - the cashmere weight would be about a medium and it fits wonderfully. I found that the it runs pretty true to size - though others wanted to size up - I believe them, that just wasn't my experience. I'm 6'2 about 170 lbs and the size 42 fit perfectly. I could wear a 40 if I were going to wear under a suit jacket, but - honestly - that seldom happens with me.
