    I had high expectations given the "retail" price of the necklace. However, the pearls look like rough glass beads. The links between the beads were crudely made. The whole thing was a disappointment. I returned it.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I have to concur that this is not such a great item. I did buy the black/silver necklace and loved it. So I was looking forward to this. But the pieces don't come together at all, the beads are too large, the links too small, and it's difficult to clasp. It's also not sterling silver (no stamp). So I am sending it back.
