Jonathan Michael Cashmere Coat with Belt (For Women)

It is all pure cashmere, what else is there to say? Plus, it arrived neatly wrapped in plastic and paper on a special hanger that was hung inside the box. No wrinkles.

This coat runs long in both the length and the sleeves. Because I am tall, I appreciate the extra length although the sleeves are too long for my not long arms. I almost returned this coat for a size smaller, but decided that it will work with layered clothing underneath it for the cold winter weather. I liked the quality enough to order other coats from Jonathan Michael.

This is the coat I've always wanted. It does run large and I had to return it to get a size smaller, though. I'm no expert on cashmere coats, but this is a terrific, classy coat at a great price. The cut is classic and flattering, the hem and sleeve length is elegant, and it's as comfortable as can be.

At first I hesitated to buy this coat based on comments that it is too long, but I figured my sewing skills could accomodate any shortening needed. Truly, the price I paid ([$] was a bargain, since cashmere is about 60-80$yard for fabric alone!. The coat is beautiful, and not too long. I am 5'7", size 14, and it fits perfect in the sleeves and torso. I like the long length, especially if walking any distance downtown on a cold winter night after a concert, etc. Don't hesitate to buy this coat, if there are any left! I got the deep chocolate brown color, since I already have tow black coats. It is beautiful!

From reading the other comments, I had expected a higher quality material. There is nothing "wrong" with the coat, it is worth the discounted price I paid but never worth the listed retail price. The cashmere has no sheen to it and will pill with wear. It is a nice light weight coat that I definitely will not save for special occasions.

My first JM cashmere coat is black & I wanted a dk brown one, esp after losing weight my 14 was too large. This style is more tailored & I love it.

This is the most amazing coat. Beautiful cashmere, very elegant, yet very wearable. I was concerned about the set-in sleeves as most size 8 coats with those sleeves do not fit comfortably over my suit jackets. Not true here. This coat fits wonderfully with ease of movement through the arms even over my business suit. Some have complained about it being too long, but I find it just right and very elegant even over pant suits.
