Jonathan Michael Fit and Flare Long Coat - Cashmere (For Women)

This is a beautiful coat but the lining is 100% polyester. I believe a $2,000 100% cashmere coat should be lined in silk. Overall, I would recommend purchasing this coat and having the lining replaced.

This is magnificent cashmere to the touch, the fit and flare cut is not so slim that you have to be skinny. The length is long, I'm 5'8" and it hits low calf of my leg. Might not be warm enought for the coldest blizzard weather. It is expensive on my budget, but it's the coat I've always wanted. I wore it for the first time and got alot of WOWs.

I love the timeless design of the coat. It will be stylish for years. I thought the size ran a little large, but with a coat that may be a good thing.

The coat runs large in the chest and waist. I wear a size 8 but needed a size 4 for a flattering (not tight) fit.

Absolutely beautiful. The cut is classic and the fabric is everything cashmere should be. The only down side is that the sizing is way off. I ordered a 10 (I wear an 8/10). This coat feels like a 14. I am ordering an 8 to try again. The brown is a wonderful shade, dark enough to be really classy.

very pleased with this purchase! it's got a great lenght and is nicely lined...it will be warm enough, but not too hot. it will be used on more formal occasions.

You know how women's magazines suggest you buy one or two "investment" articles of clothing each year? I have read that for years and never followed the guidance. Until this coat. It is costlier than most things I own, and worth every penny. Slipping it on makes me feel instantly more pulled together and attractive. Am now hoping to begin building a wardrobe that includes pieces like this--items of clothing that make me feel great, rather than simply cover my body. I am well aware of how ridiculous this sounds but I really feel like this coat has changed my life!!

At first glance, it does seem a bit expensive for a coat. Honestly, I never thought I'd bring myself to buy something like this, but have to say I'm so glad I did! It's a perfect fit for me. At 5'9", the length falls to just under my calves with the sleeves ending just past my wrist. I have the size 12, usually wear a large in tops, and am hippy, and it fits beautifully. The shape of the coat really contours to your body, fitting well at the bust, then flaring away at the hips. The result is that perfect victorian hourglass shape. The material is great quality. I've had this coat for two years now, and everything, including the lining, is in great condition, with no pilling or lining tears. I have to say that it's not a heavy winter coat. Though it keeps me warm, when it's 30 or below outside, I wear my down instead of this. I've worn it to company meetings, to work, out on the town, and everywhere short of the gym. I've received numerous compliments on it, and just feel incredibly wonderful when I wear it. This is one of those purchases that's really an investment in a quality garment. With a timeless style, this will carry across the years while remaining chic and fashionable.
