“I bought this trench coast years ago through Sierra Trading Post and thought it was the same. Mine is a classic trench. The new one is cut too severe. Shoulders are cut like a blouse/jacket whereas mine has applets, but there is no "shoulder" per se. It is a great looking coat and I am disappointed that the "new" one has a completely different look. BTW, the woman who helped me purchase it was WONDERFUL! When I called back to inquire about possibly finding the original trench coat that I had purchased the woman I spoke with was useless. If you have the "classic" one, I still want it.”
