Jonathan Michael Luxury Coat - Wool-Yak-Cashmere (For Women)

This coat has exceeded all of my expectations. I wanted a good quality, warm, attractive, classic yet sylish LONG coat without a long slit up the back that would let the cold in...and not in black. The fabric on this coat is thick and luxurious, warm, and softer than the finest cashmere. It fits beautifully, even over my suit jackets and blazers, without feeling bulky. It is made with very high quality and has a beautiful satiny lining. I am SO pleased that I found this coat at STP. It is my first purchase from STP, but definitely not my last.

I'd been searching for a very classy, long wool coat that would work as an overcoat over my business suits and blazers. This coat has the perfect sleeves for wearing over thicker garments, without looking or feeling too bulky. Fabric is nice, thick & warm and is as soft as the softest cashmere. Was also very happy to find such a beauty in a color that wasn't black! Thank you STP!

First of all - STP stipulation that this coat runs big is incorrect. I made a mistake and ordered a size smaller ,just like it was suggested and couldn't button the lower part of this coat. Ordered my usual size and it fits perfectly ! Raglan sleeves provide enough room for any movement of arms and make possible to wear a jacket or even the bulkiest sweater underneath without looking overstuffed. The shoulder pads sit just where they should for the silhouette of this coat . The coat is cut straight without any "princess " seaming that I personally think don't belong on a heavier coat. I swear I not only look slimmer but also taller - because of the continuous straight line of this coat. Fabric is pure heaven : soft, not scratchy and thicker than other current J.M coats /I own a couple older coats by this designer - no comparison with the "new" ones /. If you are much bigger on the bottom than on the top - this may not be a coat for you - but otherwise it is wonderful,warm and elegant in it's simplicity garment.

I have quite a few coats made by Jonathan Michael, all excellent buys from Sierra Trading Post. This is the most beautiful of all of them. The color is gorgeous and the quality true to the Jonathan Michael brand. Love this coat.

Beautiful Coat

I loved the feel and the drape of this coat, it was heaven. It just wasn't quite warm enough for a Northern Colorado winter and 20 degree mornings. It would be perfect for a slightly less cold climate.

I first purchased the Jonathan Michael black wool alpaca coat from STP and fell in love with it's luxurious feel and flattering look. It is my 'go to' coat for special occasions. So, this gray coat is my second Jonathan Michael coat and I love them both... I have a curvy figure, so coats that are tight around the waist make my hips look too big. These two straight Jonathan Michael coats are the perfect fit for me. Their classic design will be in style for years to come. Plus, the feel of both coats is outrageously luxurious. They are so well made, they could be $1,000 coats. I am going to order the Jonathan Michael lambs wool pea coat in Navy from STP to wear with jeans as soon as I finish this review!

color and fabric are nice. great long length for a 5'6'' person. Can button collar close for cold winter wind and wear a great scarf with the coat. Roomy fit, but would have liked a little more shape.Not a dressy coat, but good all around shopping, going to movies, casual events coat.

Have been looking for a long coat without the back slit and this one is perfect. Buttons are high up to neck, raglan sleeves are great over suits and sleeves are plenty long for my arms. Won't be wearing it till winter but weight of coat compares well to my old coat, looking forward to many years of wear.
