Jonathan Michael Single-Breasted Coat - Wool-Cashmere (For Women)

I wanted a classic coat, color and style that would live with me for many years. This is it. I'd rather have bound button holes, but the machine edge is OK. This coat is plain. Any scarf or neckline will go with it and it's plain look makes it very versatile. Just what I wanted to wear to the symphony.

This coat is beautiful and the finish is extraordinary. I was afraid as it was light weight, that it would not be warm enough as I took it to the East Coast last week with temperatures below freezing. To my surprise, it was very warm and it cut the wind very well. Perhaps cashmere is the secret? I also bought a larger size as I wear suits to work, and it fit well with some room; so you probably could get away with your usual size on this. Unlike the alpaca coat I returned, this one is slightly fitted so creates a better line. There is also a belt which can be used to pinch it at the waist, but I added a scarf and wore it without the belt and it was a very classic, finished effect that would be good for business and going out after work. It bears repeating that this is a very high end product, and the pictures don't do it justice. Great product and of course, great service from Sierra Trading.

The blend of cashmere and wool in this coat is better than previous blends or coats described and pure cashmere. So far this coat show no sign of pilling or knotting.

What a GREAT deal! Coat fits well, however, I was not expecting the shoulder padding.

I was thrilled from the time I opened it and put it on. It feels great, looks great! Goes with my dressy dress or dressy casual attire.

This is a beautiful, elegant coat. I'm 5'5" tall and found the sleeve length and overall length too long on me. But the quality is so good that I will keep it and have it altered. It feels a little lightweight, which I like, but it remains to be seen how warm it is in very cold weather (below 32 degrees).

After talking with a customer service representative I ordered one size larger than usual. The slightly fitted coat is a tad roomy - perfect for the jacket/sweater I almost always wear. The material is beautiful to the touch - a tight weave of wool and cashmere. The coat may be too light for the coldest winter days, but overall I'm very pleased.

I found the fit of this coat very good; I'm tall and thin, and many coats are too bulky. It's a style that can go almost anywhere. It looks good with slacks, and can be "dressed up" for an evening out. It would be perfect if the belt was attached across the back, instead of a tie-in-the-front, but that's only my personal preference.
