Jonathan Michael Washable Wool Coat with Hood (For Women)

This coat would make a great bathrobe, if I wanted to spend more than a hundred dollars on a bathrobe. It is basically shapeless. Cozy though.

Resolved only to buy long winter coats to keep my legs warm several years ago. This fits the bill perfectly for a running errands coat. Long, very light, relatively warm. I hate wearing heavy or bulky winter coats or jackets while shopping or running errands. At 5 feet 4 inches, 108 pounds, my husband thinks the xs fit is like a "custom tailored coat." It actually is quite sleek. Can wear a midweight sweater or blazer under it. Hood is nice, so wearing a hat is not necessary.

I really like the weight and look of the coat. I was looking for something inexpensive that would be long, versatile and not too heavy. Got it with this coat. However, as other reviewers have said, the hood is a bit pointy, but I figure I'll only wear the hood when it's super cold, and at that moment fashion usually goes out the window anyway. The coat is very Long I'm 5'4" and it goes about mid calf. However, the weight and feel are great and at a great price for a dressier coat.

I purchased it to wear in Ukraine for up coming Peace Corps teaching assignment. It looks professional and classic. The hood will be nice over a scarf for added warmth. The length will help keep my legs warm. It is roomy enough to wear over a suit jacket. Must take 8 yards of fabric, so the price is truly a bargain!!! AND fleece is an amazing fabric to make. Having wool in the mix is astounding. I am thrilled to have a WASHABLE wool where we will need to wash everything. Thank you Sierra trading post.!!!!!

The fit and fabric as well as hood shape and button placement made me look like a tiny monk in an oversized robe. Not too loose around, but not stylish. I did not try it for warmth as it was so unattractive, I put it right back in the box and sent it back. I like the washable wool feature, but it was not worth it.

The material was more fleece than wool and did not hang well with the lining.

I love it because I live in Alabama and it is the perfect weight for our winters. I wish the material was alittle softer though. It goes with brown and black because the brown has a speck of black through it.

This coat has an unusual and pleasant texture ... almost but not quite "sweater-like." It's so cozy and warm one might choose to wear it around a cold house as well as out of doors.

Iwas looking for a really long coat and they just didn't seem to be in style this year. Also a dress coat with a hood is not that common so that's a plus. One more thing: when my husband opened it he said that it was really light and I wouldn't like it because it wouldn't be warm. It's very light weight yet very warm. Surprise!

I purchased this for my wife, so all of these comments are hers. As for me, whatever makes her happy makes me happy. I'm happy! We bought a size small just in case the size XS didn't fit. The XS fit, so we are keeping the size small and hoping that it will fit our best pal and she likes it too.
