“My fault for ordering a size that was a bit large to start with;(I returned it for this reason) but this coat is a very generous cut and you could probably order 2 sizes down from your regular size. Also, as I am 5'11; it is probably too long in the sleeves for anyone shorter. (I am very evenly proportioned). This is the coat for Chicago and New York winters; although I am based in California, I travel there on business during the winter, and the warmth would have done the trick. Very large padded shoulders and very generous fit would not be flattering unless you are very thin and a bit tall. However, material and workmanship are top notch on the coat.”
