“Not for really wide calves”

“These boots look good and are the style I wanted to wear with jeans and skirts, but the cut is not right for a really wide calf. My wider calf is 14" and did not fit in this boot. The ankle part of the boot's shaft has a lot of seaming and makes for a very stiff boot. I decided to try the boots based on a review from someone else with wide calves who said they were just right. They were not just right for me. Overall, though, they are nice boots, and I'd have liked to have been able to keep them.”
