The front toe area is a little tight, but I have narrow feet, so it works for me. These boots may not work for someone with wide feet. The leather isn't the nicest looking, but it is a great boot for the price. Ordered a 39 and I wear a size 8 shoe. They were the perfect length.

Glad I ordered a half size larger cause they run small. they are hard to get on and I can not wear thick socks and must use a shoe horn, but once on they are comfortable.

I agree that they are a little uncomfortable around the ankle, and a little tight for me across the arch. (I have a high arch.) I will probably still keep them, as the color is a perfect match for a skirt, and the tightness lessens with tights, rather than socks.

They felt like bedroom slippers---unbelievable. I planned on keeping them, but after wearing them for a few hours I found the decorative loop at the back of the top of the ankle was digging into me. By the end of the night I had a painful red spot worn into my skin on the backs of both my ankles. I never packed away a pair of shoes for return with so much sorrow. Wah.... Everything else was perfect.

STP always gets the conversion wrong, listing a 37 as equivalent to a size 6, when in fact a 36 is a US6. This time though, I went ahead and ordered the 37 because people said they ran a bit small. Not so! The boot is narrow in the toe, but the 37 is too long. Not sure if I will keep them or not. The fit is okay with socks, but if I ever wanted to wear them with tights and a skirt, they'd be too big. And on one boot, the velcro shows - i.e. it's not placed in the precise right position. Overall, a really nice looking boot.

Only fit issue for me was that the top of the boot rubbed on the outer part of the ankle bu the end of the day, have been wearing a thicker pair of socks and much better!
