“I have high arches and need shoes with good height in body and toe box. These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. However, they are a little bigger than other JS 38s and they are definitely wider. Nevertheless, because I have a hard time finding shoes I can wear all day while doing a lot of walking, I decided to keep them anyway and wear them with thicker socks, even though my heel lifts up in the back a little when I walk. The built-in arch support is terrific. My toes have lots of room and height. And I love the little zippers on the side that make it super easy to get in and out of the shoes. They are winners in my book. I would have given them a 5* rating if they were truer to size, but the excess width makes them bow out a bit on the sides. If I wear them with pants, though, it's barely noticeable. Wish they had more in my size, I'd buy another pair.”
