Josef Seibel Destiny Shoes - Leather (For Women)

Like most Seibel shoes these were too wide in the heel & I had to send them back because they slipped off my feet. If you have a narrow heel, the "M" of a Seibel shoe will just not work. It was a nice shoe & I think they would have worn well, but they were loose. I have yet to see a "N" Seibel shoe. They are all "M". Each of their shoes need to be carefully tried since, unlike Pliner shoes, they do not have a consistent fit. Other than that they are comfortable, & because of that I keep going back & ordering the brand, hoping that a different shoe will have a better fit.

So far so good... Comfortable and stylish! Cant go wrong with these! Great price here too!

Seibel shoes run wide so I knew I was taking a chance ordering slip on's. I would love to keep them but they are just too wide and don't stay on my feet.

Pros:Shoe is true to size and width. Very comfortable. Cons: They make so much noise when you walk no matter what surface. They creak and squeak at an unacceptable level. I feel like a one woman rhythm band. They also have the granny look to them.

The particular pair that I received lacked some quality control. Tho' not listed as seconds, the inside was rough in several places. this pair also appeared to have been worn for awhile by someone with a wide foot because it was stretched, and had creases across the top. The soles looked to have been worn outside. The side of one shoe was sort of puckered and did not lay smooth. This is a good brand, and it is a cute shoe. It has;however, odd sizing. I wear a size 7 1/2 in some brands and an 8 in others. The J. Siebel sizing includes a 1/2 size & the next larger size. A size up is huge, and a size down is too small. This particular pair of shoes did not conform to the maker's usual high standards!

I have very bad feet due to breaks and bone spurs and high arches. I've spent years buying shoes and giving them away after one or two wearings. These shoes I will never give away. They fit like a glove the first time I tried them on. And when I found them at your store for almost half what it cost elsewhere, I was in heaven. Bought two pair and will buy more. Thanks a million.

I have a lot of shoes, the majority being well-made, stylish comfort shoes. This is the most beautifully done shoe I've seen. It looks gorgeously crafted and the leather is soft and pliable. I would give the shoe five stars except that it is as the previous hinted, a bit of a large shoe. I purchased my regular size 7 (38, as stated) initially and it felt like an 8-1/2 so I exchange it for a 37 (size 6, as stated). The shoe was still too large all around when I tried it on, so I put on a pair of heavier socks and it fit well but still roomy. There is not much lateral support as a result of this, but a smaller size would make the shoe too short. Given all of this it was not enough for me to want to give the shoe up, it is so beautifully made and has an attractive presentation. They feel handmade on my feet. So I will put some insoles in it to fill the space and wear whatever socks I must.

When you slip this shoe on, you know it is a keeper! Not only does it look great, it is durable and very supportive. I have a high arch and the padding and interior contouring support my feet. I will wear it with a medium thick sock as NYC winters are cold. If you plan to wear it with a thin sock, it may be a bit too big.
