The design flaw is the last hole for lacing up isn't a hole, but a strap of stretchy black fabric. It snapped as soon as I laced it. So, I took the shoes to my cobbler, who punched a hole in the leather ... which is how it should have been designed in the first place.
Otherwise, I love these shoes, which garner many compliments!”
