Josef Seibel Faith Mary Jane Shoes (For Women)

I've had these for three years, and I still get compliments on them. When I first got them, they were the weirdest-fitting shoes I'd ever worn: too big around the toes, a bit tight around the heels, yet it was on the sides of my feet that I was getting blisters. I must have gone through a box of band-aids before I broke these in. Now they are very comfortable.

Problem was sizing. Comments said the 36 was equivalent to 3.5-4 but it wasn't; it was more a size 5.

Nice leather easily stretched to mold to your foot.

What a bummer! I normally wear a 37 in Dansko and assumed this would fit the same as it is a european size. I couldn't even get my foot all the way in--- so sad because these are very stylish shoes!

The sizing as is posted on the website feels correct. I wear size 5 normally and the 37 fits me well. The shoes are very comfortable and stylish.

In the photo, these look possibly comfortable. But I am someone who doesn't sacrifice comfort for, say, pointy toes. Not for the person with bunions. I think the perfect shaped foot would enjoy them.

Sierra Trading Post must have changed the sizing of these shoes after consumers complained they were too small. That's the only way I can understand why there are all these older reviews that say the shoes are too small, but the shoes I received were too large. I wear a 4.5/5 and the size 36 fit perfectly. I originally followed the STP guidelines and ordered the size 37. It was a full size too large. I normally wear a 35-36, so ordering the size 37 seemed odd. These shoes are very stylish. They look great with long slacks for the office. They are flexible, and the leather is nice. They are not very cushioned, so they would be hard to walk in hard surfaces. But I drive to my workplace and sit for most of the day and when I walk around the office, it is carpeted, so under those circumstances the shoes were comfortable. STP has an excellent deal on these well-made, stylish shoes.

Bought two pairs (black and beige). Though I kept them both, the fit is not ideal. I see that some reviewers say that the shoes are too small; others say they're too big. I found them to be both: 1/2 size too long, wide around mid foot, but constricting around the toes. Even though the shoes are large, the strap keeps them in place. Also, the bottom of the shoe is not fully flat, making the step feel slightly off balance. Having said that, I get plenty of compliments on the unique look of the shoe.

These are really cute and stylish for being a "comfort" shoe. They do run small, order a size up. The only con for me is that by looking at them from the side profile, (I think because of it's shape) they'll make your feet look really long even in my tiny size 5.

I ordered two pairs of these shoes, one in olive and one in purple. They really are great, but you have to order a full size up. I am a true 5.5-6.0, medium/regular width, and (thanks to other reviewers) I ordered a size 37. They fit fine
