“I own 2 other pairs of JS similar style clog type shoes and they have been fantastic. And these are very close to fantastic BUT - despite my size 36 in the other JS shoes, I had to go a whole size up in these ones; and they are still quite snug. Perhaps that snugness is accentuated by the mass stiching which makes the shoe a bit stiff and at the top on each side are two elasticed pieces. Where that elastic is stitched into the shoe with that big chunky white stitching is a bit rough on the skin on the top of my foot - so if wearing all day this spot on my skin gets tender.
the other issue is that they have a very slight rise at the back of the heel. perhaps 1cm if that. Again, stiffened with stitching. So you have to make sure your whole foot fits well inside the shoe to clear that heel piece. It stops your foot from coming at the back of the shoe - so that's another snug factor. Otherwise they are a very comfy wear. All day long. walking around. very cushioned sole. WAY excellent value when purchased from Sierra, and worth every cent!”
