Josef Seibel Halsey Shoes - Slip-Ons (For Men)

I wear these shoes as part of a business casual wardrobe. They are very comfortable and the slip on style makes getting through airport security easy. I have received many comments about the stylish appearance. I would highly recommend these shoes.

Seibel's slip-on fits beautifully around a narrow-ankle while offering the width needed for a proper fit. Stylish, comfortable, great for work and weekend.

When I first put these on I thought I should have ordered a size larger. They were hard to get on, and seemed tight. However, after wearing them for about thirty minutes, they seemed to stretch out, and fit like a glove. They offered great support, and were so very comfortable that I decided to look for more Josef Seibel shoes. I had purchased a pair of Merrill slip-ons [...] for the same price, and they were not as comfortable.I also liked the idea that these shoes were produced in Eastern Europe, rather than in China.It seems that at this price point shoes should be made in Brazil or Eastern Europe, not in China.

Most slip-ons feel slightly loose when walking. This is the first slip on that I've owned that moves with the foot and has the secure feel of a lace up oxford.

I bought this specifically for two weeks of travel in Japan, where most indoors spaces require outdoors shoes to be removed. Our family was also attending two memorial services, so I needed the shoes to look "appropriate" with somewhat somber (subdued) attire. These are my first pair of lace-less shoes and they were comfortable, even on the longest travel legs which lasted about 16 hours. They function best with the help of a shoehorn as the opening is a bit snug. On the other hand, it fits well around the ankles and heels, making them confident walkers.
