Josef Seibel Megan Slides - Leather (For Women)

I think they could be worm with shorts, jeans, capris or most anything in the summer months. Great heel, not to high at all.

Very comfortable shoe that you can wear with shorts, capris or long pants.

These sandals are great and felt good on the feet right our of the box. They have sort of that "gladiator" look without being masculine or over the top. The 1.5" heel is great - - much better than a very flat sandal. I'm using them as a casual summer sandal. Not sure how comfortable they would be for travel/long walking tours. The inside is lightly padded and your foot doesn't slide around. Very, very nice sandal.

I had an almost identical pair of Josef Seibel sandals bought 3 years ago for full retail that I wore daily and wore into the ground. I was so pleased to find this new pair. These are the same design, but 1/4 of the quality. The soles are thin and feel like I am walking on cardboard (old Josef Seibel was like walking on clouds). The lower quality of rubber/plastic in the heel, and the way the leather is stitched on the shoe looks similar, but will not hold up to hard wear. These are clearly not made in Germany. What a disappointment!

I just got these yesterday, so can't comment on their durability -- but I put them on and didn't want to take them off again. So comfortable! I bought a pair of Electra slides last year and love them (wish I'd bought more), and these are very similar. But believe what the catalog says: if you're a half size, order down. I usually take a 40 in Josef Siebel, but I got a 39 in these, and it fits (40 would have been huge).
