Josef Seibel Paige Shoes - Mary Janes (For Women)

I wear an 8. 39 was way too long and 38 was too short. I had to return both.

I like style but I want to be comfortable too. These fit funny and when I walked my back started to hurt. I need a little heel. They had no cushion around the sides and were a bit stiff.

I having been buying Josef Seibel Shoes since the 1970's. This is the first pair that has totally disappointed me. Josef Seibel Paige Shoes - Mary Janes (For Women) run a full size too small and narrow.

I like these shoes, but I had to exchange them for a smaller size. I wear a 7 1/2 in american sizes - so I normally wear a 38, sometimes 39, in European. I first ordered the 38s - but the shoes were too long. I returned them for the 37s and the size fit.

I'll exchange for a better size fit. Though I usually wear a Euro 37, Euro sizing for this shoe converts US 7 to Euro 38 so that's what I ordered and the shoes seem to be one full size too big. I ordered another Joseph Seibel shoe style, also in Euro 38, and they fit fine. (The description for that shoe converts US 7 to Euro 37 but other reviewers for that style said the sizing was too small and to order 1/2 size up.) The overall design is stylish and would work well for casual office wear (skirts too) or just for kicking around. They're lightweight and water repellent, according to the packaging, so would be good for travel.
